In a huge sigh of relief for Indian boxer Vijender Singh, National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) announced on Tuesday that the boxer has tested negative in the drug test.
Bangkok - Two village defence volunteers were killed and four others were wounded by a bomb while patrolling in a district of southernmost Pattani province on Monday afternoon.
According to the police, six village defence volunteers were patrolling on a pick-up truck in a village when the assailant detonated a bomb which was implanted on the road.
The explosion destroyed the pick-up truck, killing two instantly and wounding four others, two of them seriously.
Since the resurgence of the insurgency in 2004 in three Muslim- dominant provinces of Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat which were once part of the Sultanate of Pattani, over 5,200, mostly villagers, have been killed and about 8,000 injured.
