Graft charges framed against union minister Virbhadra SinghShimla - A court here Monday framed corruption charges against union minister and former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh and his wife Pratibha Singh.

Special Judge B.L. Soni pronounced the order in the court.

The prosecution had filed the chargesheet against the couple in October 2010.

According to the police, the couple was booked Aug 3, 2009 on the basis of an audio cassette released by Virbhadra Singh's political adversary Vijai Singh Mankotia in 2007.

The former chief minister faces charges of misusing his official position and criminal misconduct in 1989.
