LeJ linked to Pak Taliban: Rehman Malik Islamabad - Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik has claimed that the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) have links with each other.

Malik said Malik Ishaq and Allama Ludhiyanvi were leading two groups of LeJ with the new name 'Ahle Sunnah wal-Jamaat', reports The Nation.

Malik criticised the Punjab government for not taking proper action against these militant outfits. He urged the Punjab government to arrest 734 terrorists, adding that a list of the terrorists had already been provided to the provincial government.

Malik said the government would form a strong team to initiate dialogue for peace with the Taliban. He also asked the Taliban to nominate serious people for talks.
