BJP Has Sent General Secretary Amit Shah To Uttar Pradesh To Supervise The Preparations For The Coming Bypolls To 12 Assembly Seats Of The State Later This Year.
It seems that the BJP has decided to continue party-building activities during its tenure at the Centre despite registering a thumping win the Lok Sabha polls.

The party has also started building ground for Assembly polls that will not take place before 2017.
In the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls, the saffron party has surprised the political pundits by winning 73 of the state’s 80 seats.

But the party is not willing to rest on those laurels and it is interested in repeating this mega success once again in the by-polls.

The Economic Times reported that BJP is also planning to increase its presence in the seven constituencies where its candidates faced defeat. These constituencies are the family constituencies of the Yadavs and the Gandhis.

Report added that Shah has already coordinators for each of these seven Lok Sabha constituencies, including MP and Gorakhpur strongman Yogi Adityanath for Mulayam Singh Yadav’s Azamgarh and senior RSS man Kalraj Mishra for Sonia Gandhi’s Rae Bareli.

The BJP is already attacking the SP-led government in the government for failing to improve the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
