Microsoft needs to ‘start up again’ to avoid being old, says CEO
Johannesburg – Microsoft needs to reinvent itself to avoid being ‘old and tired’, company’s CEO Steve Ballmer has said.
The comments from Ballmer came as his company is struggling to keep up in the mobile devices sector.
At a conference in Rome where he announced Italy had become the first country in which Microsoft phones were outselling iPhones, Ballmer said that the company has to start up again, news24 reports.
According to the report, he said that unless you’re constantly inventing something new, you’re old and tired. Now it was the time for the company to remake itself.
