Smartphone obsession makes for cheating partners
New York – A new study has revealed that smartphone obsession makes the ignored partner cheat in their relationship.
According to the survey, phone- dependent partners used the devices constantly during meals and conversations and sometimes right after sex, the New York Daily News reported.
The study, which was conducted by a dating website for partnered people called Victoria Milan on 6,000 people, found that half the people who cheated on their lovers, while 45 percent did so because the partners spent too much time on phones.
According to the survey, women between the age of 30-50 were the likeliest to cheat because of phone obsession, which is known as “phubbing” or they use a phone to snub people.
