Sony Xperia Z1S images, features leaked
New Delhi – Sony’s take on a mini version of a top-end smartphone seems set to hit the market, with the latest leak revealing the design and specifications of the device.
Xperia Blog has leaked released images of the Sony Xperia Z1S, which will join the ranks of top models like Samsung Galaxy Note 3, LG G2 and Sony Xperia Z1 in terms of processing power. This smartphone, however, has a smaller screen with lower resolution and lesser battery capacity, similar to the display in HTC One Mini.
Leaked images of the Sony Xperia Z1S show that it has a 4.3-inch display with 720p resolution and runs on Android 4.3. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, the most powerful in the world right now, and a 2,300mAh battery. Other features of the device include 16GB internal storage, microSD support, 2GB RAM and 20.7MP rear camera, just like the current Xperia Z1. This phone is also said to be water-resistant and dust-proof.
This leak comes just a day after camera samples of the Xperia Z1S hit the internet. Recently, Sony listed the smartphone on its website, but soon took it down.
The Japanese version of the Xperia Z1S has already been announced for telecom carrier NTT Docomo. The specifications of the international variant of the phone will be similar to that of the Japanese model.
