New Delhi – Retired Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar has said he believes that he has outgrown his shyness a little bit from the time when he entered the game as a 16-year-old teenager, who spoke ‘just ten words’.

In an exclusive interview with CNN, Tendulkar said that he believes cricket has made him a better person and has helped him overcome his shyness, although he admitted that he still finds it difficult opening up to people easily.

Along with his shyness, Tendulkar further said that the game has helped him become a stronger person than before by throwing many challenges at him, both on and off the field, adding that the experience has taught him that every situation needs to be analysed using a certain method.

However, the Little Master admitted that even though his 24 years in cricket has taught him many things about the game, he still has a lot to learn, adding that it is the beauty of the sport.
