London – Andre Villas-Boas admitted that he is fighting to save his job after Sunday’s humiliating 5-0 defeat at home to Liverpool but insisted that he will not resign as Tottenham Hotspur manager, according to reports.

According to The Independent, Spurs were embarrassed at home by Liverpool, leaving them seventh in the table, and Villas-Boas acknowledged that his future was out of his hands, and that all he could do to save himself was work hard.

Villas-Boas said that it was not his call as he could not control it but he could focus on getting down to work.

He insisted that he would not resign, as he is not a quitter, adding that everybody is down as it is the second expressive scoreline Tottenham has suffered this season.
