If you plan on being close to the New Delhi Railway Station, Connaught Place while keeping your budget in check then hotels in Pahar Ganj area might be your best bet. Yatri House, Hotel Namaskar, Hotel Vishal are some of the better known hotels. You can choose to stay right in the heart of Delhi at Connaught Place. Hotels in this area will be a tad expensive but then you can literally walk down to some of the interesting places in Delhi. Janpath Guest House, HK Choudhary Guest House, Hotel Blue are some of the budget options available in the area. If you are ready to spend a bit more then Hotel Fifty Five, Hotel Jukaso Inn, Hotel Alka, Central Court Hotel, Nirula's Hotel are great options. In the high end Hotel Imperial can be considered.

If you choose to be closer to the airport and Dhaula Kuan then there are several five star accommodations available in Diplomatic Enclave. Maurya Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Taj Palace Hotel are the high rated ones. Hyatt Regency is another option close to the Sarojni Nagar Market and 15 minutes driving distance from Dhaula Kuan.
