The Social Network: The faculty of National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, wants that the university ‘dissociates’ itself from Justice A K Ganguly, accused of sexually harassing his former intern who was also a university alumnus. With the current sexual harassment at workplace law not including students in its purview, we discuss have the universities and the state failed students? We also discuss: if it wasn’t for social media and a Facebook update about a mid-night police raid posted by a Jammu and Kashmir cricketer, would the event have been missed as just another ‘routine’ check?
