Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has announced a proposal to raise the tax-free cap on home loan interest for self-occupied property from Rs 1.50 lakh to Rs 2 lakh. Moreover, the Income Tax exemption limit has been raised by Rs 50,000. Experts cite the advantages this rebate has given to home buyers in India and whether it would encourage more people to invest in the real estate sector. (Audio in Hindi)
