‘Singh Saab The Great’ is my contribution to the society: Anil Sharma
New Delhi – Anil Sharma, who has yet again united with Sunny Deol after the success of ‘Gaddar-Ek Prem Katha’, calls his upcoming film ‘Singh Saab The Great’ a contribution to the society and the country.
Anil says that the idea of making a social drama like ‘Singh Saab The Great’ came to him as the entire country is fighting corruption.
“After making ‘Veer’, I was thinking about what kind of project to pick up next. I observed that since the past 3-4 years, there is a lot of concern about the way things are going on in this country and everyone is fighting corruption in his or her own way. I thought about this and decided that since I am a filmmaker, I should contribute in my own way to society through a film and that is how the idea for this film came up.”
‘Singh Saab The Great’ also stars Urvashi Rautela, Amrita Rao, Prakash Raj, Anjali Abrol and Johny Lever. The film is slated to be released on November 22, 2013.
