House passes narcotics Bill: dignity returned to those terminally ill

If there was precious little work in Parliament over the last few days, then there was cause for some cheer today. The Narcotics Bill was passed, which means that access to pain reducing morphine is much simpler now. For patients who are in acute pain, say from cancer, this is a blessing beyond words.
