Paswan’s party agrees on seat-sharing pact with BJP

Bihar politician Ram Vilas Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) will fight the national election, due by May, in partnership with the BJP. The BJP-LJP alliance has been revived after a gap 12 years. Mr Paswan had distanced himself from the BJP over the 2002 riots in Narendra Modi’s Gujarat.
