A day after Narendra Modi declared his marital status in an affidavit for the Lok Sabha election, a Congress delegation led by Law Minister Kapil Sibal petitioned the Election Commission on Friday to take action against Mr Modi. The Congress has said in its complaint that Mr Modi furnished “false affidavits” and concealed his marital status in previous elections.
