Will Sonia Gandhi pep up Telangana Congress campaign?

The Congress bifurcated Andhra Pradesh and hoped the goodwill generated would beat 10 years of anti-incumbency, at least in the new state of Telangana even if they were punished in residuary Andhra Pradesh. Today, nearly two months after Parliament passed the Bill to create India’s 29th state, Sonia Gandhi held her first public meeting in the Telangana region in Karimnagar, to give a much needed boost to the Congress campaign in the region, but is that too little, too late?
