2G scam and the Nilgiris: mountain or a molehill?

The Nilgiris constituency in Tamil Nadu is generating extra interest because of the DMK candidate and former telecom minister A Raja, accused in the 2G scam. How much did this weigh with voters? Some say water and environmental degradation are bigger concerns. But others feel corruption is the biggest issue which adds to all the other problems.
