This week, India Matters travels to the Jhargram parliamentary constituency in West Bengal. It is a no-industry zone and has witnessed years of violence said to be triggered by Maoists. Add to that, the presence of an inordinately high number of people living below the poverty line. The state government says it has unleashed a tide of development. We check the ground reality.
