Subhashini Ali vs Dinesh Trivedi: Insider, Outsider debate rocks Barrackpore

The “outsider” tag is something that bothers Subhashini Ali, the senior CPM leader who has been pitchforked to Barrackpore in West Bengal to take on sitting Trinamool Congress MP Dinesh Trivedi. She would rather focus on developmental issues. But Mr Trivedi, a former Union minister, is trying to reduce the contest to a battle between an “outsider” and an “insider.”
