After six years of restoration work, Humayun’s tomb ready to receive visitors
A 1500-member team worked to restore Humayun’s Tomb at the centre of the capital which lay in a state of ruin and decay. Since 2007, master craftsmen have undertaken 200,000 man-days of work to restore the Tomb and its surrounding structures. toiled for around 600,000 days, painstakingly restoring the monument’s original designs.
