Surgery on Google Glass: landmark or landmine?

Chennai-based surgeon performs India’s first ever Google Glass operation, just two weeks after the first was performed in Ohio. While the operation is celebrated as a landmark of sorts in terms connecting doctors across the globe, experts want to broaden the debate to the rights of patients. Are the questions of internet connectivity, patients safety and doctors’ accountability and the users’ personal medical history being addressed? We debate.
