From the dhabas of Murthal to the phulkari of Patiala

This week on Follow The Star, we travel 240Km, and our journey starts from the capital Delhi and drives through the badlands of Haryana! Our first pit stop is at Murthal — known for its wide array of dhabas that serve up good old hearty north Indian fare! After a solid meal there, we drive through the historic city of Panipat up to our final destination in Punjab — Patiala. The royal city has much to offer — from traditional crafts and food, to historic sites and shopping options. We also try our hand at shooting, catch up with a Phulkari designer and visit Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib.
