The standoff between Delhi University and the University Grants Commission (UGC) has intensified with DU now deferring the admission of students. The move comes a day after the UGC gave an ultimatum to Delhi University to scrap its Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) or face “consequences.” However, in this war between Delhi University and the UGC, those suffering most are the students, whose admissions are now on hold.
