Sweetie: virtual child in real abuse

A Dutch NGO creates a virtual 10-year-old Filipina child to target online ‘predators’. Over 20,000 respond on chat to the child, 1000 men offer money to perform sexual act, 100 of them Indian. Is the inaction against child abuse on the ground the reason for vigilante action on social media? Do users behave the same on the ground as they do online?
