UP woman says she suffered miscarriage after being beaten by cop during protest

A 35-year-old woman from Uttar Pradesh has alleged that she has suffered a miscarriage after she was beaten by a police officer during a protest yesterday. The woman, a resident of Bijnor district, says she had gone to the police station along with some other women to protests against the detention of a man from their village.
