Child ‘Govindas’ cannot participate in this year’s Dahi Haandi

The child rights commission of Maharashtra has imposed a ban on child participants in the Dahi Handi celebrations. The festival which is carried out with a lot of fanfare and involves formation of massive human pyramids almost always has child participants occupying the upper levels of the pyramids.
