Tension in Moradabad as VHP leader plans puja at temple caught in a dispute

There is tight security in Kanth town of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh after a Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader said she would perform prayers today at a temple which has been at the centre of a dispute over a loudspeaker. Sadhvi Prachi of the VHP has said she is determined to reach the temple and perform a jal abhishek or a ritual with water. The VHP is an offshoot of the RSS, which is also the ideological mentor of the BJP.
