‘Need to be more vigilant about infiltration’: Northern Army Commander to NDTV
The man in charge of the Northern Army Command, Lt General DS Hooda, in his first TV interview speaks about the need for India to remain more vigilant about infiltration from Pakistan and the possible fallout of operations in North Waziristan. The Northern Command is India’s most operationally active command. It not only shares borders with China and Pakistan, but also looks after Siachen, the world’s highest battlefield.
