On Prime Time, we discuss whether the UPSC row on English in CSAT papers has brought back the linguistic agitations that existed in the past in India. Rajya Sabha members from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka raised the UPSC issue in the house saying that the government addressed only the concerns raised by the ‘Hindi candidates’ and not the rest of the issues with the CSAT pattern of examination.
