Campa Cola flat demolition put on hold as Supreme Court steps in at eleventh hour

Families at Mumbai’s Campa Cola society today erupted in joy as the Supreme Court, intervening at virtually the last minute, put on hold the demolition of illegal flats. They had fought bitterly to protect their homes and clashed with policemen who tore down their locked gates and entered the complex earlier.
