‘Love jihad’ a false propaganda by patriarchal groups?

On Prime Time we discuss the propaganda of ‘love jihad’ being spread by some groups to ‘alert’ people of young Muslim men wooing Hindu girls into wedlock and converting them to Islam. We ask – do the girls, if they are in the right frame of mind, not capable of deciding whether to go for such a marriage and also whether they wish to convert to another religion? Is this method of fear-mongering and asking people to ‘save the girls’ in their homes not indicative of the mindset of some men who consider women in their homes as their possessions? We debate.
