On Prime Time, we visit Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram in Badarpur, Delhi, where dozens of senior citizens who are abandoned by their kith and kin are taken care of. As we speak to inmates, heart-wrenching tales of abuse and torture suffered by the senior citizens at the hands of their near and dear ones emerge. Dr Sohan Singh, who manages the home, says that a vast majority of the elderly housed in the home are from really rich families. (Audio in Hindi)
