Won’t invoke caste for vote: Pankaja Munde to NDTV

She may have been projected as the BJP’s OBC face for Maharashtra but Pankaja Munde has told NDTV that she won’t seek votes in the name of her caste. Asked about BJP chief Amit Shah’s appeal to OBCs to unite behind her, Ms Munde said that that wasn’t for votes but to reassure OBCs that after Gopinath Munde’s death they still have a leader in his daughter.
