Over 13 crore rupees seized in raids in Maharashtra

Cash exceeding 13 crore rupees have been seized during raids conducted by the Maharashtra police before polls to check on corrupt practices during elections. According to the police, each time cash exceeding 10 lakh rupees is found in the possession of anybody, the matter gets transferred to the IT department for investigating the source of those funds.
