NCP to give outside support to BJP: Praful Patel

The BJP will be the single largest party in Maharashtra, but will need an ally to form government in the state. Amid speculation about a possible reconciliation with the Shiv Sena, the BJP has been offered external support by Sharad Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party or NCP. “Maharashtra needs a stable government with a link to the Centre… We have decided to support the BJP from outside,” said senior NCP leader Praful Patel.
