PM Narendra Modi to flag off ‘Run for unity’ today on Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off a “Run for Unity” at Vijay Chowk near Parliament this morning to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day. He will pay floral tributes at the statue of independent India’s first home minister at Patel Chowk, Parliament Street, and will then address participants of the run. He will administer a unity pledge and will flag off the run at 8.15 am.
