NDTV Exclusive: Maruti Swift, Datsun Go fail crash tests

In January, NDTV had brought you exclusive details of crash tests carried out on five popular made in India models. In a follow up to those tests, car safety authority Global NCAP has now crashed two more Indian models: Maruti Swift & Datsun Go. These are made in in India, and are tested in their base variants sourced from dealerships here. The timing of these results coincides with an intent from government to modernize India’s archaic road safety policy.
