Gurgaon: Little from thousands of crores EDC collected spent on infrastructure

On Property India, a special report on the poor infrastructure in Gurgaon in spite of HUDA having collected thousands of crores towards EDC (External Development Charges) from builders who pass on the burden on buyers. The problems include poor roads, absence of street lights among others. We discuss with two gentlemen representing developers and apartment owners about slow pace at which the Haryana government has been building infrastructure around new townships and their suggestions for the government.
