Delhi polls: richest candidate is worth Rs. 235 crore

At least a third of Delhi’s candidates are millionaires and the richest candidate is worth over 200 crores, an analysis by an independent election watchdog has revealed. Akali Dal candidate Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who is contesting the December 4 Delhi election from Rajouri Garden in the west of the city, has declared wealth worth Rs. 235.5 crore in his poll affidavit.
