It is after a gap of 28 years that an Indian prime minister is visiting Australia. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s Australia visit has raised a lot of expectation among the Indian Australians who are looking forward to a big push in India-Australia ties. Racial attacks which at one time haunted the Indian community are now a thing of past with Indians contributing to the expanding Australian economy. NDTV’s Sandeep Phukan, who is covering Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Australia, brings you this special chat with a cross section of Indian community based in Brisbane.
