Badaun cousins committed suicide, were not killed, the CBI concludes

The two teenage girls found hanging in a small village in Badaun in Uttar Pradesh in May this year committed suicide, the Central Bureau of Investigation has concluded, ending speculation that the two were raped and murdered. Sources say the investigators have found that the local police had committed an error by concluding that girls, who were cousins, were killed.
