Chandan Kumar, a jawan with the Central Reserve Police Force, was injured during Monday’s Naxal attack in Kasalpada, Bastar. The Maoists had ambushed the team. By the time the bloodbath was over, 14 jawans were dead – the worst instance of Maoist violence in Chhattisgarh this year.
