MS Dhoni’s decision to retire is “lion-hearted”: BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel

BCCI Secretary Sanjay Patel said he was taken aback when Mahendra Singh Dhoni called up to say he wanted to retire from Test cricket and said only a lion-hearted man could take a decision like that. Patel said he asked the India captain if he was under any pressure or if there was any cause for tension, but Dhoni stuck to his stance and said he had decided to retire from the five-day format for good.
