India has 2,226 tigers in the wild today which is 70 percent of the world’s tigers. Not too long ago, India was facing an acute tiger crisis. That’s when NDTV in association with Aircel came up with Save Our Tigerscampaign to create awareness about the alarming state of the tiger in the country, encourage tiger conservation and save tigers from extinction.
