At 11.24%, retail inflation brings more bad news for UPA

A 61.60 per cent surge in vegetable prices pushed retail inflation to 11.24 per cent in November, a setback for the government which is struggling to lower price levels ahead of 2014 general elections. In October, the retail inflation was at 10.17 per cent.
