Homeless patients struggle in Delhi cold

The national capital witnessed its coldest December in 18 years. The most unfortunate victims of this bitter cold was the city’s homeless population. 32-year-old Poonam was diagnosed with womb cancer in March last year, after which she left behind her husband and three children her home in Uttar Pradesh and moved to the national capital for further treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
