Walk The Talk: Seven years after the first decision was taken to rebuild Mumbai’s dingy and congested Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, the wait is finally over. The swanky new Terminal 2 that’s been built by the GVK-led consortium on over 1400 acres of land using granite that can cover 27 football fields and at cost of Rs 12,500 crore is now operational.

Shekhar Gupta, Editor-in-Chief, The Indian Express, talks to Dr GVK Reddy, Founder Chairman and Managing Director, GVK Group and GV Sanjay Reddy, Vice Chairman of GVK Power and Infrastructure Limited about the challenges they faced while constructing Terminal 2 and the inspiration behind making such a mega structure with art work from all over the country.
