The Social Network: The Aam Aadmi Party’s ‘mein bhi aam admi’ campaign has three days to go, but so far they managed only 50 lakh new members – half of the 1 crore members they were targeting across the country by Republic Day. This despite the party waiving off the Rs 10 fees which they said was unaffordable for the aam aadmi or common man.

What the online world is chattering about are images which show that the Aam Aadmi Party boasts of some very khaas members – like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Jawaharlal Nehru and also the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

The AAP’s claim of over six lakh members online and more than 10 lakh members through calls and SMSes has certainly had many crying foul. In their race to meet their target and project themselves as the party that’s the wave in the country, has the AAP registered aam aadmis who don’t even exist? We discuss on The Social Network.
