Great Battles: In the summer of 1999, the Indian Army achieved what military observers called an impossible mission and liberated a part of India from its enemies from across the border. It was a war televised across the nation and generated a strong sense of patriotism among the Indians, especially the youth inspired by a new set of heroes from the Army.
